Noodles
Watermelon Love
Lady & The Fort
Melancholic Day
Analysis:
I really love this way of taking photographs. It brings joy and playfulness to every occasion although I did throw in a different type of mood for the last shoot. I love the little chapel at Fort Worden and I thought I would take a sad day approach. Since I am the model for half of these, the batteries ran out for my remote control timer (dough!), so it was a little more challenging with the wide angled shots. I tried using the HDR on one of them, but it cut off my feet, so the building is a little wonky. I love the contrast on the stairs.
I am still working on my drawing with light technique. My hands are shaky, so working on these for a few hours straight is hard on me.
Finally, I have figured out the ease of taking up-close shots of my daughter. Why oh why was I not using my lens correctly?!
All natural light. It was too sunny and sun over head afternoon, but it was the only time I had. For my daughter, it was nice outside light from our window in the family room.
