Frame Options (Week 3)
Text Styles Brochure (Week 2)
For some reason, I had a challenging time with this. My styles were not working correctly once I had saved them. I didn't understand the instructions in the book; it was too chaotic with the mixture of educational information and then mapping the procedures for the assignment. Maybe it was easy for others, but having a short video on just the first easy basics and not having other related instructions in lecture was difficult for me.
Overall, I don't think I did the assignment correctly due to these confusions and overload of information. I understand how to do character and paragraph styles; I understand the importance of font pairing; but I didn't understand the instructions in the book and the lack of video material to complete the rest of the assignment. Uploading the two other InDesign samples then the random text of two versions; it just went way over my head. There was just too many objects and types and text with a lack of proper how to.

Layout Practice (Week 1)
I used Midjourney AI for both posters (background and airship image). I wanted an Art Deco style. I did not like the asymmetrical text version shown to us in lecture (it didn't work well from my brain, it was literally unsettling to me), so I went for a more aligned format. I wanted to contrast the versions with a light and dark scheme as well as portray the difference between serif and sans serif text.
For the first two below, there is a slight variation in the paragraph alignment (left vs full).
