My first go around with motion graphics; I am already hooked. Practice was done with the first Glowing Flower Image as made from tutorials. Nothing special there.

The below Youtube video is a demo of shorts created by Motion Leap and Isadora's Focred Stage Preview on Full Screen Mode (then screenshot video'd on my computer).
For my second go around, I used After Effects. It was super challenging to work with on my low internal memory laptop (Llama on Mountain Tops). It was crashing all my other programs and making my computer do weird things, so I will have to limit my use until I can afford a new computer. I really like using it though as the effects and other tools are endless.
There wasn't much of a script for this trial run. There is no audio either. I realized I forgot audio after I rendered the video and it crashed the software without saving it. Bummer, but I got a little something out of it below.

Otherwise, Photoshop seems to do the trick with my third try on motion graphics (Balloon Ride with Berry to Rainbowland). It was easier to add an audio track and use in general since I am well experienced with this software. I enjoy the extraction process. Yet, the audio was slim picking and I went with a very generic script, not even song.
In both of these compositions, I used AI generated backgrounds (Midjourney & Firefly) in a paper mache or paper cutout fashion as I felt it was playful and imaginative, yet with realistic elements. Both involve a journey and adventure, which I find is a consistent theatrical plot that is interactive and keeps the audience engaged.
All in all, I wanted it to feel like I was reading a book that was posted on the wall and whoever is listening to it, feels like they are along on the ride.

There is a lot to learn in this class as I have NO THEATRE background whatsoever. I do love films and am an avid movie watcher. So next go around, I would make more of a theatre like scene rather than a story in action. I need more understanding of Isadora still.
Introduction
I am super excited for this class; it seems to bring expansive energy into my mind-scape for growing creative possibilities and potentials. This class seems to bring all the elements of what I have learned into practical applications for the 21st century.
As of right now, I have very little video and animation experience, which I only hope to flourish over the next year in some of my remaining coursework. Up until now, most of my courses have focused more on graphic design and photography with a little illustrator thrown in there.
I am a budding artist/photographer with increasing interest in AI capabilities and real life interactive events. Before this degree, I was stuck in administrative work that seemed to bore me into a feeling of nonexistence. However, with this new burst of creative focus, I am seeking an entirely new work landscape fulfilling my inner need to explore and present a variety of stories, emotions, and beauty.
As I will be moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico in just a few months, I have been lightly exploring the city's art scene. I came across this fascinating event combining the culinary world of immersive dining experience with projected art in an abandoned big box store, entitled "Hello Space". The company, StoryLabs, has expanded this concept into a continuous venue for their sister company, Electric Playhouse, that hosts unique events for interactive art and play. This also transformed into a city-wide showcase for projecting art onto city landmarks, "Lighten Up Albuquerque":

Another example in the city is with Casino advertisement, although, I do not like casinos nor gambling, but it's a cool idea. Same with Nike's customized sales technique below:
Because I went to the University of Michigan and would walk past this building all the time, I wanted to include this example It's not my favorite as I don't like the constant M, but it's cool to know about my old University Town.
Below Left is probably one of my favorite event examples. held in Kuwait because I like the sacred geometry and middle eastern music. However, all in all, I am not a huge fan of large events due to my sensitivity, so I really liked this interactive topography map (below right).

With everything that I googled/researched, my favorite is this music video. I love all the various landscapes and locations the character "walks into". It tells a story rather than just mere lights and symbols (and advertising to sell something). It's truly a masterpiece in my mind especially when they take him underwater and on the moon.
